President's DayA birthday bash for President Abraham Lincoln and President George Washington was complete with soldiers from their armies and many visitors from the community.
This commission paper was signed shortly after the start of the Civil War and you can see the darker signature of Edward Stanton in the center and the lighter signature of President Lincoln to the right.
