EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

  A special Open Hearth Cooking class is being planned for the spring.   Interested parties should contact LakeviewEdu@yahoo.com.

 

  Speakers are available to come to talk about Jamesburg's part in American history at your group or club meeting.  Tours for school groups and other organizations will be gladly arranged upon request.   Send requests to LakeviewEdu@yahoo.com.

 

Our current educational exhibit focuses on 

Early American Cooking

- Come see our PowerPoint and hands-on kitchen display on how food was preserved. 

- See an examples of a working Beehive Oven and Smokehouse. 

- Teachers worksheets and links to historical food web information available
